Introducing Our New North Rockland Athletics Modified Coaching Staff

Emily Grall - Field Hockey
Entering her second year in the district, Coach Grall is a substitute teacher and coach at North Rockland High School and is entering her first season coaching field hockey. A former Red Raider, she played field hockey at North Rockland for three years and has also helped with field hockey camps and clinics. Returning to the program in a new role is especially meaningful to her, giving her the opportunity to give back to a program she was once a part of. This season, she hopes to build a team that works hard, supports one another and genuinely enjoys being on the field. For Coach Grall, the best part of being a Red Raider is the people and the community.
Matt Devincenzo - Football
Entering his 27th year in the district, Coach Devincenzo is a sixth-grade social studies/language arts teacher at Farley Elementary School and is entering his first year coaching football. A former Red Raider himself, he began playing football at Farley in seventh grade and continued through high school at North Rockland before playing at Iona College. He has also spent several years coaching his own children’s football teams and is now returning to where his football journey began. He is most excited to be part of something bigger, identify talented players and help them develop throughout the season. His goals are to help every player improve their football skills while competing to win. For Coach Devincenzo, the best part of being a Red Raider is being part of something bigger than yourself.
Amanda Squillini - Girls Soccer
Entering her third year in the district, Coach Squillini is a physical education teacher at the Neary Educational Center and is entering her first season coaching soccer. A former Red Raider herself, she played varsity soccer at North Rockland for three years. As she begins her first season coaching, she is most excited to meet the players and create a positive experience for many of them who are participating in school sports for the first time. Her goals are to build a positive team culture while setting a high standard for work ethic and competition. For Coach Squillini, the best part of being a Red Raider is the feeling of being part of a family.
Charles Nardone - Boys Volleyball
Entering his eighth year coaching in the district, Coach Nardone is a physical education teacher at Fieldstone Middle School and is entering his first season coaching boys volleyball. He is most excited to work with young athletes and watch them grow throughout the season. His goals are to build strong relationships with his players while developing and improving their skills. For Coach Nardone, the best part of being a Red Raider is being part of the best community.
